 Paola Guarin of Sempertex in Barranquilla, Colombia, is an international, bilingual instructor specializing in distinctive LINK-O-LOON^® design and balloon design techniques. As Marketing and Decorations Director for Sempertex, Paola works closely with owner Oswald Loewy. She develops Sempertex education programs, introduces new product designs, and organizes large-scale décor projects, some including more than 20,000 balloons.

Paola is a member of the editorial committee for Celebra magazine in Latin America. She contributes articles about industry trends, and creates balloon projects with instruction for the magazine. She has taught classes in several Central and South American countries as well as more than 15 cities in Colombia.

Paola is delighted to share her passion and Latin flair for all things LINK-O-LOON^® as well as her outstanding décor designs with Betallatex^® balloons at FLOAT 2017!

You’ll learn her special precision LINK-O-LOON^® graduated sizing techniques for transforming Classic Decor with straight-line structures into unique room decor with sprinkles of fun and delicious, bold color combinations. This class will hit the spot, so bring your camera for delectable pictures! 

Paola will share her tips and tricks for creating room layouts and designs as well as the construction methods for building her distinctive LINK-O-LOON^®-based balloon walls. Her designs are stunning when set vertically, but Paola will show you even more ways to display her unique wall designs, including framed, flat, curved, rigged, sculpted, and ceiling treatments, too. You’ll also learn how to add gorgeous textures and how to use Paola’s special sizing techniques. You won’t want to miss seeing the amazing variety of Betallatex^® wall designs; they’re simply above and beyond!
